Detox Program: What is it?

When people think of the word detox, what are the pictures that you have in your mind? I bet you have alcoholic and drug users in mind don't you? Only this kind of people will go on a detoxification program isn' it. Not so true. FALSE, FALSE, FALSE.

Do you have a car? If you have one then do you bring it to a machanic for a tune up every year? I hope your answer is yes. If you have the awareness of tuning the machine so it can run properly, what about your body. The most elegant machine that we know of right now. Are you tuning it up lately? That's where detox program comes in. In a nutshell, it is a tune up for your body.

If we still use the car as an analogy, what fuel do you put in your car? Petrol? What kind of petrol? Unleaded or Premium or Diesel? I hope you can read and the car let you know what kind of fuel it wants.

But our body does not come with the instruction manual. That is where all the challenges lies. We are inherited the custom and lifestyle of our parents and our environment to the kind of fuel we put into our machine. What happen if we put the wrong fuel in our car? Can it still runs? I bet it still can but for how long is not guarantee by the manufacturer. The same is true with our body. We have being putting the wrong foods in our body. To change our body chemistry we must change our fuel in our body. The fuel for human is fruits, berries and melons. ALL RAW.

We have been putting the wrong fuel in our body and that has lead to toxicity in our body. What cause toxicity in our body? Acidosis or inflammation of cells in our body. How the body eliminate is the key to restore our body function.  And that's the art and science of detox come in. But if you want to start right now in your detox program for yourselves, start by eating RAW fruits, berries and melons. Start with breakfast then work slowly toward 100% raw foods.
